My philosophy is based on a progressive, health-centered, relationship-based ideal, offering state-of-the-art dental care that reaches beyond your oral health. My goal is to improve the aesthetics of your smile, as well as enhance your overall health and wellness.
Education and Continuing Education
I graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, with my Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1983. Previously, I had graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology from Brigham Young University in 1979.
I returned to my native California after graduation and practiced in Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles before settling into the Northridge area. I practiced for more than 35 years in Northridge, California, and am excited to be a part of the Fealy Dentistry team.
My training in dental school included the disciplines of prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, and oral surgery, among others. I was one of the first dentists to implement the use of porcelain veneers when they were first developed and have been a leader in cosmetic dentistry since.
Outside the Office
I was born and raised in California and have been married to my wife Valerie for more than 35 years. We have three beautiful children, the oldest of whom is a dental student at UCLA.
In addition to being passionate about dentistry, I am an avid pilot and have logged hundreds of hours of flight time. I have earned my instrument rating, which allow me to fly in all types of weather. I have also been involved with the charity group “The flying Samaritans,” which is a volunteer organization that operates medical clinics to help the disadvantaged.
